Over the week of Easter this past week, we were able to spend 3 days together as a church. It was a blessed time where we had fellowship with other believers as well as had four different pastors share different themes based on John 10:10 that says: "The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy, but I have come to give you life, and life more abundantly." Here is a picture we took on the last day. There were closed to 80 people there at different times through out the weekend. We now get to see the fruit of this weekend for the rest of the year. There was six different churches represented.

From time to time we are faced with just how small our town is. This town of Autlan is actually 50,000 people which is fairly large. We meet people all the time that have never seen us before. I say this because we are currently the only American family in Autlan. I can't exactly blend in very well. But when we are downtown in the market with our kids, there is the usual comment made to us about how beautiful our children are while they are touching each one of our kids' heads. In Friday I was running some errands on the other side of town. As some of you know we raise chickens, so I was asking a guy if he wanted to buy a few roosters from me that we had hatched from eggs. You only need one rooster other wise they will fight. So I asked this guy whom I don't believe I have met before, where he then asked me if I still live on Gonzalez Ortega behind the bull ring? What? This guy knows where I live? How is that possible that a guy on the other side of town knows what street I live on? It is moments like this, I realize just how important it is to be careful of my actions and how people are watching even though it doesn't feel like it.
