This is how tall the doorway actually is compared to me who is 6'.
This past week after living in our house for close to 3 years now, I finally put in some protection for my head. This picture explains it. Where I am standing is the doorway from our bathroom to our hallway that leads to our kitchen. This house is over 100 years old. Needless to say the people who build the house were shorter in stature. From the photo you can see where my head actually is. It is perfect for Jessie but me on the other hand, have had difficulties. For the first year there was always a mark on the top of my head. It looked like I had been a bar fight or something where someone hit the top of my head. When we went home on furlough, we purchased some foam corners for babies. Hopefully with this in place it will allow for smoother transitions between the bathroom area and hallway. As I write this, I am at least reminded of Mike Weaks, who visited this past January. He saw stars a few times walking through this door way.
